TSY In House Training #518: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

TSY In House Training #518: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Group discussion on the go.

The Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is an effective tool to benchmark, analyse, and improve the production process. The OEE tool gives the organisation the ability to measure their machines for productivity improvements. OEE not only measures these inefficiencies but groups them into three categories to help the organisation analyses the machine and have a better understanding of the manufacturing process.

Developed in the mid 1990’s, OEE has become an accepted management tool to measure and evaluate plant floor productivity. OEE is broken down into three measuring metrics of Availability, Performance, and Quality. These metrics help gauge your plant’s efficiency and effectiveness and categorise these key productivity losses that occur within the manufacturing process. OEE empowers manufacturing companies to improve their processes and in turn ensure quality, consistency, and productivity measured at the bottom line.

Combined with interactive learning workshop, case studies and role-play, this event will provide participants with a one-of-a-kind learning experience. Participants will take home the correct tools and methods to begin implementing their own OEE activities their organisation.
