This Lean implementation plan builds on existing efforts and represents a step forward culture of continuous process improvement with a standardized, disciplined approach that will achieve effective and efficient results. Lean training and events will occur at a measured, organic pace by personnel at specified points levels, with the aim to reduce lead times, reduce variation, and eliminate bottlenecks.
Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) is one of the many lean production methods for reducing waste in a manufacturing process. It provides a rapid and efficient way of converting a manufacturing process from running the current product to running the next product.

Training is done through a combination of effective modules and activities. Participants learn the basic concept of LEAN from our LEAN practitioner Mr Muthu and Mr Danny.
After learning the basics, practical workplace assessment also very important for LEAN implementation. Participants do on their own with the guide of trainer, then present their findings and future improvement on those presented issues.
Even the Italian GM Mr Tony and Italian Production Manager Mr Marco had join us for the whole training session. What a great distribute of leadership!
